I Care KY is a volunteer 501(c)3 organization concerned with intersection safety. Over the past five years, we have tracked Kentucky Teen Crash Data and are concerned with the number of crashes, injuries and fatalities. The “3-E” approach to traffic safety includes Engineering, Enforcement and Education Components . . . we are obviously supporting EDUCATION.
Of the 10,667 Teen Crashes in Kentucky during 2020, nearly 29 percent (3,083) were at an intersection. Because of support from
Beaumont Family Dentistry, LGE-KU Foundation and the Kentucky Office for Highway Safety, I Care KY is able to host the third anti-red light running campaign called Don’t Squeeze the Lemon. There is a Video Contest, Car Air Freesheners, Decals, School Announcements AND Fan Voting! Check out the links above for all information.
Be sure to notice the Video Contest Awards! Fan Voting will be used to identify the five top videos.
